Meet the Team
Catherine Bruni, DMD
Dentist, Owner
Dr. Catherine Bruni is passionate about providing excellent care to help patients look and feel their best. She enjoys serving patients from the Gulf Coast and surrounding areas. Dr. Bruni stays up-to-date with the latest advancements in dentistry by taking continuing education classes to provide her patients with the best possible care.
Dr. Bruni graduated from the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Dentistry with honors in research. She served as President of the Dental School Associated Student Body in her last year. Dr. Bruni is originally from Gulfport and was Valedictorian of her class at Gulfport High School. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from The University of Alabama with undergraduate degrees in Biology and Studio Art. Dr. Bruni's hobbies include going camping and hiking, spending time with her cats, reading books and doing puzzles.
Hal Jones, DMD
Dentist
Dr. Hal Jones has been proudly providing high-quality dental care to the patients on the Mississippi Gulf Coast for over 40 years. He is committed to giving our patients skilled, outstanding care and staying up to date with the newest improvements in dentistry by taking continuing education classes throughout the year.
Dr. Jones graduated from the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Dentistry in 1983 and has been practicing at Waveland Dental for the past 40 years. He has served as President of the Mississippi Dental Association 5th District and President of the Mississippi State Board of Dental Examiners. Dr. Jones is originally from Gulfport and received his undergraduate degree in Marine Biology from the University of Southern Mississippi. Dr. Jones' hobbies include boats, airplanes and automobiles.
Cristal, RDH
Hygienist, Office Manager
Cristal, a Bay St Louis native, has been a Registered Dental Hygienist with Waveland Dental since 2007. She graduated from Pearl River Community College's Dental Hygiene program in 2006 where she was a member of Phi Theta Kappa honor society. Cristal is passionate about helping our patients maintain healthy, beautiful smiles and makes it her mission to educate each patient on the importance of maintaining optimal oral health. In her spare time, Cristal loves spending time with her children, family and friends. She enjoys being outdoors, listening to music and home projects.
Daphne
Lead Dental Assistant
Daphne graduated from Bay High School started dental assisting in 1980 and has been with Waveland Dental since 1985. She enjoys working in the yard, planting flowers, and playing with her grandchildren.
Alyssa
Dental Assistant
Alyssa, a Kiln native, graduated with her dental assisting certificate from Delta College in Slidell. She enjoys spending time with her family, friends and pets. Some of her hobbies include listening to music, traveling and shopping.
Shanti
Office Business Assistant
Shanti is a Pass Christian native, who has been in the dental field for 25 years. She spent 18 years as a dental assistant and the last 7 years on the administration side of dental. In her spare time, she loves traveling and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
