Did you know there are little habits you can develop at work that can help you have the top-notch smile you deserve? Well, it’s true! Our dentist, Dr. Hal Jones, encourages you to use those habits so you can achieve your smile and oral health goals. Those helpful work habits are:

-Eating a tooth-healthy lunch: Sticking to smile-healthy foods for lunch can help you have stronger and healthier teeth and gums. These foods include fruits, vegetables, protein and dairy products. So, do your best to eat these foods rather than sugary, acidic and high-carbohydrate foods that can harm the smile.

-Brushing your teeth after lunch: Brushing your teeth after you eat can help you have a clean and healthy smile and it can even remove food particles stuck between your teeth to help you avoid embarrassing food-filled smile moments. So, keep a toothbrush and toothpaste in your desk drawer so you can brush after lunch!

-Sipping on water throughout the day: If you sip on water regularly, the water will wash the smile. This can eliminate the dangerous substances from the mouth, prevent dental issues, help you avoid dry mouth and even help you have better breath. So, please remember to drink water throughout the day.
